Several year ago I went fishing to Patagonia for a couple of days, just because it was on the other side of the earth from Japan. That trip turned out to be so great that now I have come back every single year, not just because of the great fishing, but also for the incredible scenery, the weather, the un-crowded rivers and back country, and of course becuase of the people. The Chilean people are honest, warm and friendly, and are always willing to help when you need a little assistance.

Three years ago we bought our own car and boat and this year we will spend nearly 4 months in Patagonia (it seems like every year we add a couple of weeks to our stay). In fact, our four year old grand daughter is coming down for a month (her second trip) and even she can't wait !! I'd encourage anyone who loves the outdoors or loves fly fishing to experience Chilean Patagonia. It's a wonderful place.
